María Virginia Dionisi

Background: Technical Director of ITF Brussels, Samjok-O, Taekwon-Do Woluwe, ITF Ixelles, Hwarang TKD School and Red Force. Coach of the Belgian National team. Master Virginia started training in Taekwon-Do in 1982, in Posadas, Argentina, with her two brothers Marcelo and Fernando at the school of Master Carlos Mendez and Grand Master Javier Dacak. In 1989 she was the first woman to obtain a black belt in the state of Misiones.
In 1991 she was invited to take part in the demostrations performed by the Korean Taekwon-Do Team that were held in Buenos Aires (Gran Rex Theater) and Posadas (Teatro Espanol). 
She moved to Belgium in 1999. She met General Choi Hong Hi (founder of Taekwon-Do) several times, and tested with him for IV Degree in 2000. As a competitor, Master Virginia won several national and international competitions, being European Champion (Poland 2008) and World Champion (Argentina 2009), where she also obtained a Bronze medal and tied for best competitor.
Master Virginia Dionisi has been awarded for her outstanding performances in 2008, 2009 and 2010 by the Brussels Town Hall at the Champions Reception, held at the Hall of Fame at Roi Baudouin Stadium.
Several current and former students of Master Virginia are or were members of the Belgian and Argentinean Teams, obtaining outstanding results at European & World Cups and Championships (Alexander Walter, Andreea Musca, Patricia, Nicolas and Alejandro Romero, Toby Fox, Alice Vrinat, Bill Harrison, Martin Behar, Omar El Ferkhani, Leen Walraeve). She has also coached Mr. Lylian Doulay from France for many years.
In addition, Master Virginia is a lawyer specialized in business law. She currently works as Legal Consultant for multinational groups. She likes water sports (being an advanced open water diver), classical and modern dance.
